The challenge

A new name with a long background. And no website yet.

Lifekart was a new name with a long background. Its team has more than 20 years in medical and medical-consumables supply, but the brand had no website. It needed one that could:

  1. Present a large catalogue clearly. More than 60 products across 14 categories, from cervical collars to blood pressure monitors.
  2. Serve two audiences. Trade buyers (pharmacies, clinics, hospitals) who want pricing and availability, and shoppers who buy online on Amazon.ae and noon.
  3. Build trust fast. Genuine brands, real product photos and specifications, not stock icons.
  4. Grow with the business. New brands were already planned, so the site couldn't be designed around just one or two.
  5. Load fast on mobile. Most buyers in the region browse on their phones.
Our approach

Four decisions that shaped the build.

  1. 01

    Structure before style.

We mapped every product into categories, body areas and use cases (doctor prescribed, daily care, gym & sports, work & desk). That way buyers can find a product however they think about it.

  2. 02

    Real content, properly prepared.

We gathered and optimised more than 90 product photos and size charts. We took product photos and full specifications from the manufacturers' packaging artwork, and turned every item into a consistent, comparable product page.

  3. 03

A design system, not a set of pages.

The look comes from Lifekart's own logo (navy, magenta and amber), with rounded cards, soft gradients and subtle motion. Brands, categories and products are all driven by data. A new brand appears across the whole site from a single entry.

  4. 04

Speed and SEO from day one.

Every page is pre-rendered as static HTML and served from a global CDN. Images are converted to modern formats automatically. Each product has its own indexable page with clean URLs, metadata, a sitemap and structured data.

What we built

Every page earns its place. From banner to enquiry.

Rotating home banner

One slide per brand, generated automatically, plus a brand-ambassador slide and a trade slide.

Smart product browser

Filter by brand, category (with photo chips) or use, plus instant search and shareable filtered links.

Rich product pages

Swipeable photo gallery, features, sizes, materials, specification tables, size guides and an email enquiry button that adds the product name to the subject line.

Brand pages

Brand story, highlights, a "jump to category" bar, products grouped by category and links to the other brands.

Shop-by-need gallery

Expanding photo panels that guide shoppers from a need to the right products.

Trade enquiry form

Topic chips (trade order, product question, brand partnership) and email delivery with no backend to maintain.

About page

An animated journey timeline, mission and vision panels, values and process.

Marketplace-ready

"Buy on Amazon.ae / noon" buttons switch on per product as soon as the links are added.

Design details

Built from the client's own logo.

Colour

Navy for trust, magenta and amber from the logo for accents and gradients.

Typography

Outfit for headings, Plus Jakarta Sans for body text. Both are self-hosted, so text doesn't shift while fonts load.

Motion

Scroll-reveal animations, a cross-fading banner, hover effects on cards and buttons. All of it switches off for visitors who prefer reduced motion.

Mobile first

Every section was checked from phone to wide desktop.

Built to grow

A brand list, not a hard-coded site.

Most product sites are hard-coded for the brands they launch with. We built Lifekart around a brand list instead:

Add a brand once, with its logo, story, categories and products, and it automatically appears in the menu, home banner, brand cards, category tiles, product filters, footer and sitemap.

Adding a brand now takes hours, not a redesign.

Questions, answered

About the Lifekart build.

Can the client add new brands and products themselves?

Yes. Brands and products are managed in simple data files. New entries appear across the site automatically.

Does the website support online sales?

The site focuses on trade enquiries. Each product can link to its Amazon.ae and noon listing for shoppers.

Which technology does Websitesaga use for sites like this?

For catalogue and company websites we use Next.js with static pre-rendering, which makes pages fast, secure and SEO-friendly, hosted on a global CDN.
